Configure the fields of the Refer Patient screen

You can configure which fields show and which are mandatory for referring practices to use.

To configure the fields, do this procedure.
  1. Select Administration.

    rVetLink shows the rVetLink Administration screen in a new browser tab.
  2. Select Referral.

    rVetLink shows settings to configure how referring practices refer patients.
  3. In the Form Options section, select Fields.

    rVetLink shows a list of possible fields of the Refer Patient screen.
  4. For each field that you want the Refer Patient screen to show, in the Visible column, set the toggle to Yes.

    Note: rVetLink permanently sets some toggles to Yes.
  5. For each field of the Refer Patient screen that you want to be mandatory, in the Required column, set the toggle to Yes.

  6. To make changes to a field's function, in the right column of the field, select the Edit button.

  7. Make changes as necessary.
  8. Select Apply.

rVetLink shows and makes the applicable fields mandatory in the Refer Patient screen.
