Configure a message to show after referring staff complete a referral

rVetLink has a message that shows automatically when referring staff complete a referral. If necessary, you can also configure a different message for each specialty service.

To configure a message, do this procedure.
  1. Select Administration.

  2. Select Referral.

    rVetLink shows settings to configure how referring practices refer patients.
  3. In the General section, select Completion Messages.

  4. In the right column of the applicable message, select Edit.

  5. In the Name box, enter a name for the message.

    Note: The name is for the use of your practice only.
  6. In the Title box, enter a title for the message.

  7. In the Message box, enter message text.

    Note: Your message can include instructions for admission or other information to help referring practices.
  8. To make this message show for all specialty referrals that do not have a specified message, set Default to Yes.

  9. To make this message available to select for specialty referrals, set Active to Yes.

  10. Make other settings as necessary.
  11. Select ✓ Save.

rVetLink has a configured message that you can select to show automatically when referring staff complete a referral.
To make sure that rVetLink shows the message to referring staff, select the message when you configure the applicable specialty service. For information about how to configure a specialty service, go to Add a specialty for referrals.
