Use the Medical Notes section to show and download all available medical notes for the patient. Examples of medical notes are clinical summaries, referral summaries, and discharge instructions.

1. Select Patient Chart.
   
   rVetLink shows the Patient Chart screen.
2. In the Patient First Name box, enter the first name of the patient.
   
3. In the Client Last Name box, enter the last name of the client.
   
4. Use the Last Updated setting to select a date range when the patient information was last updated.
   

   Note: You can find patients with medical information that was updated today, yesterday, last week, or last month. Select All to find patients treated in the last six months.
5. Select Search.
   
   If rVetLink finds a patient that matches the search criteria, it displays the patient information in the Patient Chart screen.
6. Find the Medical Notes section.
7. In the Details column of the applicable medical notes, select Open or Opened.
   
   Note: When you open a medical note, the Details column shows the status Opened. This status shows that you opened the medical note before.
