About the Patient Chart screen
Veterinarians use the Patient Chart screen to monitor information about patients that they referred to a specialty or emergency practice.

To get access to a patient's information, in the Details column of the applicable patient, select Show.
- Patients treated in the last six months
- Sections that have data from specialty or emergency practice
To make sure rVetLink shows accurate patient information, it syncs data with specialty or emergency practices regularly.
- Practices that use ezyVet sync data to rVetLink every five to ten minutes
- Practices that use Cornerstone sync to rVetLink every four hours
This table gives each section of the Patient Chart screen and the information that it shows.

| Client Information | The Client Information section shows information that includes:
The Client Information section shows a Patient Chart button. Select it to download all available patient information in one PDF file. Note: The downloaded patient chart only shows short information about each medical note. It does not show full medical notes. To open full medical notes, you must open each medical note from the Medical Notes section in the Patient Chart screen. |
| Patient Information | The Patient Information section shows information that includes:
The Patient Information section shows a Refer Patient button. Select it to refer the patient back to the specialty or emergency practice again. Note: rVetLink shows the Refer Patient button within six months of the patient's last visit to the specialty or emergency practice. |
| Appointments | The Appointments section shows the appointments for the patient. |
| Medical Notes | The Medical Notes section shows records and documents from the specialty or emergency practice (for example, clinical summaries, referral summaries, and discharge instructions.) The Details column of the Medical Notes section shows the status of each medical note. A medical note can be in Pending or Opened status. If the medical note is available, select the Open or Opened button to show and download the document. |
| Laboratory | The Laboratory section shows laboratory tests and results for the patient. The Laboratory section shows the Show or Shown button. Select it to show the information about the tests and the results. |
| Prescriptions | The Prescriptions section shows the prescribed medicine for the patient and its quantity. The Notes column of this section contains the Show button. Select it to show the dosage and instructions for each medicine. |
| Problems | The Problems section shows the symptoms, clinical signs, or issues of the patient. |
| Diagnosis | The Diagnosis section shows the identified condition of the patient. |
| Procedures | The Procedures section shows the record of care that the veterinarians give to the patient. |
| Digital Images | If the specialty or emergency practice uses an imaging provider that has an integration with rVetLink, the Digital Images section shows the patient's available images. The Details column of the Digital Images section shows the Open button. Select it to show the digital images for the patient. rVetLink shows the image in the imaging provider website. |
| Notifications | The Notifications section of the Patient Chart screen shows updates about the patient that you received from the specialty or emergency practice. |
Columns of the Patient Chart screen
This table gives the name of each column on the Patient Chart screen and the information that it shows.

| Client | The Client column shows the full name of the client. |
| Description | The Description column shows the breed and the color of the patient. |
| Last Update | The Last Update column shows the last time that the specialty or emergency practice updated the patient information. |
| Details | The Details column contains the Show button. Use Show to see the patient information. |
