Configure the notifications that new referring practices automatically receive

You can control the notifications that referring practices receive when they use rVetLink for the first time. If necessary, the practices can change the notifications that they receive.

To configure automatic notifications, do this procedure.
  1. Select Administration.

  2. Select Notifications.

  3. In the General Settings section, select Default rDVM Notifications.

  4. In the Default rDVM Notifications section, make settings as necessary.
    Note: rVetLink customer support recommends that you set all notifications in the Email row to On. And in the Fax row, set Appointment, Update and Deceased to On.
  5. In the Apply To section, select Unaccessed.

    Note: If you select All, rVetLink changes notification settings for all referring practices, and includes practices that have not used the rVetLink portal. rVetLink customer support recommends that you only change notification settings for new referring practices.
  6. Select Apply Changes.

Referring practices receive the configured notifications when they use rVetLink for the first time.
