Configure the notifications that referring practices receive for appointment confirmations

You can control if each appointment type causes an appointment confirmation notification. As a result, you can make sure that referring practices do not receive too many notifications.

To configure notifications for appointment confirmations, do this procedure.
  1. Select Administration.

    rVetLink shows the rVetLink Administration screen in a new browser tab.
  2. Select Notifications.

  3. In the Appointment Notifications section, select Notification Types.

  4. Select an appointment type in the Available to Send section.
    Note: rVetLink shows appointment types in the Available to Send section after a practice manager does the necessary configuration with your PIMS integration.
  5. Use the right arrow button to move the appointment type to the Selected to Send section.

    Tip: Use the double arrow buttons to move all appointment types to a different section.
  6. Repeat steps 4 thru 5 for all necessary appointment types.
Referring practices receive appointment confirmation notifications for the configured appointment types.
